We are seeking for a hard working graduate to be equipped with hands-on experience and the relevant qualifications with some years of experience. The successful applicant can expect a huge variety of challenging tasks on a daily basis.
The applicant must be ambitious, highly motivated and a hard working individual with attention to detail and accuracy. He/she should have a courteous manner and social skills with the ability to instruct colleagues in a technical manner.
He/she must be willing to work diligently and independently with a systematic approach to work. He/she must enjoy working in an intercultural, multi-national environment and have the flexibility to travel abroad and work flexible hours. He/she must be able to deal with complex issues, work under pressure solving irregularities within the chain independently. The applicant can expect a huge variety of tasks on a daily basis from controlling to compliance.
The Aircraft Engineer / Line Station must hold valid and unrestricted ICAO Type II licences
The following Typ. Ratings, acc. ATA 104 trained (EASA 147) Level 3 trained:
- A330 Engines: RR Trent 700/GE CF6-80
- A340 Engines: CFM56
- A340-500/-600 Engines: RR Trent 500
- B744 Engines: GE CF6-80 / PW4000
- B747-8 Engines: GEnX
- B777 Engines: GE90 / RR Trent 900
- MD11 Engines: PW4000 / GE CF6-80
A minimum of 3 years proven experience of exercising the privilege of authorising CRS (Certificate for release to service) for aircrafts after maintenance work
*Authorities (Disciplinary/Professional/Financial) - in accordance with rules and regulations and given authorities
*Applicants must be a South African resident or alternatively must be in possession of a legal work permit in the country of employment
