You will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels to ensure MI is based on good quality data. This will involve both project management and considerable process work to understand and access the data in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders / business partners. You will need to develop a deep understanding of the team function and data requirements, turning high level MI requirements into Tableau visualisations and focused dashboards. You will also develop models and effective trackers to ensure robust planning, forecasting and regular reporting of performance, always maintaining and updating the current live MI used by the team and other business stakeholders involved in Risk & Safety. Ensure the MI you produce is accurate, tested and meets the need of the user is vital to the success of this role.
In addition, you will identify and propose revised operational projects and processes to improve the quality of our data and reports, and take these from an idea to implementation though leading the project or managing small cross functional working groups.
You will support Emergency Response and Operational reporting and analysis undertaking any other data related tasks or projects as designated by the Data & System Manager and General Manager - Risk & Safety.
The successful candidate willbe passionate about data and IT competent, particularly with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Any experience with Tableau or another similar data visualisation tool would be ideal. You will be solutions orientated, with a commercial mindset, able to work to tight timescales and adapt to unforeseen circumstances where MI/Data is immediately required. You will have MI Creation experience and excellent numerical skills, with the ability of turning data into actionable insight.
In addition, you will be determined and motivated, with good communication skills and high attention to detail, always ready to take on new concepts.
