General Manager - Ground Operations Training

Working with both internal and external key stakeholders, you will also ensure that all Ground Operations training material is current, practical, and in line with industry and legal requirements whilst developing and embedding our customer experience training programme across all areas of Ground Operations. You will be responsible for creating and managing new starter, recurrent, and ad-hoc training plans for the business area, designing and implementing learning solutions with a clear focus on safety and colleague competence, and conducting training needs analysis with a consistent focus on improvement.
In addition, you will be responsible for a large team of direct and indirect reports across various locations in the UK, Spain, and Portugal, and will be ultimately responsible for the performance management and development of this team. You will work closely with our Station Managers and develop a coaching relationship to drive our mentoring culture across the business. With a keen focus on compliance, you will also ensure accurate maintenance of all training records in line with company and regulatory requirements.
To be successful you will be aself-starterwith extensive, proven experience in both Training and Managerial role(s) andsignificant experiencein aGround Operations environment with an understanding of both customer facing and airside/ramp functions. You will be competent in designing dynamic training solutions and managing a training cycle.
Leading by example, you will be solution focused and passionate about delivering high standards of customer service and will possess good organisationalandtime management skills. Whilst not essential, the ability to speak Spanish would be advantageous. There will be a requirement to travel to our bases across the UK and Overseas.
