In this high profile position, the Sales Analyst will report the daily and cumulative sales position and channel mix, highlighting any areas of concern around route performance, variance to targets by season, changes to buying trends and external impact factors to the Revenue Team and Senior Management. You will produce daily MI, tracking and trading reports, using predominantly BI Cubes, Tableau and Excel and provide competitor analysis including fare trends, affects of promotional activity and pricing strategy changes year on year and week on week. You will report on load factor to yield pattern, channel mix and gross margin benefit, year on year performance by route and changes to trends by route and destination and produce any other ad-hoc and regular analysis for the Revenue Teams and project work assigned by Senior Stakeholders within the business.
To be successful in this role you will be educated to degree level with a positive, forward-thinking, can-do attitude with the ability to identify new reporting opportunities to constantly drive the business forward.You will have experience of producing management information and financial or sales analysis and be commercially aware and able to identify, interpret and communicate business trends, risks and opportunities to all levels of the business. An effective team player, you will be experienced in working with multiple departments but also with the ability to work under own initiative. You will need an eye for detail and the ability to provide solutions to reporting challenges with the ability to present complex data in an easily understandable and usable format and provide detailed commentary, tailored to the audience. To be considered for this role you will be highly competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and have experience of other analytical and database software, with a high degree of literacy and numeracy. Previous Tableau experience would be highly desirable for this role but not required.
