Youwill rectify all defects on flight simulators, their sub-systems and components as well as visual systems andother training devices. You will use a wide range of skills to repair, overhaul, calibrate and test these systems to ensure optimum performance is achieved. You will also modify existing hardware and software and carry out preventative maintenance and testing to ensure the Company and regulatory standards are achieved. In addition, you will update all technical and regulatory documentation as required.
The successful candidate will have experience in themaintenance and operation of flight simulators, in particular CAE, L-3 (Rediffusion/Thales) and TRU Simulation devices. You will have knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing flight simulators and the ability to maintain these devices to a high standard. In addition, you will have analytical and diagnostic skills required to operate and maintain technical areas such as electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components. You should have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work pro-actively and on your own initiative.
