Cost Control Engineer

The successful applicants will possess a minimum HNC/HND, or equivalent, in a relevant Engineering discipline. Ex Service candidates will be deemed to have the necessary academic requirements if they have proven technical expertise in the rank of OR7 and above and have completed approved courses of technical training will be eligible to apply. You will have accreditation from the Association of Cost Engineers (ACostE) at Registered level or the ability to work towards the required accreditation level within one year. To be considered you either have or will possess relevant work experience with the knowledge of cost management and modelling, and supervision of Cost Engineers or demonstrate the potential to do so.
As a Cost Control Engineer, you will carry out cost estimating, analysis and control activities and support project organisational and administrative activities. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for cost management, estimating and analysis for major projects, which require a high degree of technical skill and experience. This will be primarily supporting the Maritime Domain, experience in the Maritime Domain is Desirable not Essential. You will also provide general non-routine cost management guidance to projects and identify cost trends for management attention.
