Finance Manager - Group Reporting
EuropeReporting into the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager - Group Reporting will lead a team responsible for delivering high quality Group financial reporting. This role involves frequent interaction with the Executive Chairman and Chief Financial Officer and other senior managers across both the Finance Team and wider business.
In this high profile role within the Dart Group Finance Team you will own the management, co-ordination and delivery of the half year and full year Group reporting process including group consolidation, audit, investor presentations, results announcements, end-to-end annual report production and production of statutory accounts for Dart Group PLC and its subsidiaries.You will also be responsible for the production of Group management accounts for the Board and quarterly management accounts for Dart Co and Dart Leasing and Finance Ltd.
You will provide technical research, advice and associated analysis to understand the impact of changes to accounting standards on the Group and entity accounts and deliver technical updates to the wider Finance Team. You will provide ongoing support and advice on changes to group structure, for example, to accommodate our increased overseas presence and in relation to aircraft purchasing/leasing.You will also manage and maintain the intragroup aircraft lease documentation.
In addition, you will report and monitor covenants for banks and other lenders, UK Civil Aviation Authority and aircraft lessors. You will produce full year entity based forecasts and, working closely with the Treasury Team, ensure accurate hedge accounting and that any FX impact is accurately accounted for, and advise on the accounting implications of the use of alternative derivative products.
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant with extensive post qualification experience who has the ability to work collaboratively and constructively with senior colleagues within the Finance Team and across the wider business. You will have strong and current technical accounting knowledge and experience of working with or within a UK listed business.You will have strong analytical skills, a high attention to detail with the ability and confidence to distil and communicate complex matters in simple terms.
