Our client is based is based between London Luton and London Stansted Airport and have capability for Interiors, Airframe, Structures, Avionics and Repairs. There background is in large aeroplanes; normal, utility, aerobatic and commuter aeroplanes, large and small rotorcraft.

We are looking for a dynamic, flexible Project Design Engineer for our Structures/Interiors Department, with Part 21J experience
As a Interiors Design Engineer your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
1/ the investigation of feasibility of and production of appropriate documentation, for:
(a) Structural modification and/or repair to primary and secondary structure, e.g. skin panels, floor beams, frames and stringers for modifications such as antenna installations, floor beam strengthening (for upgraded monuments) or general structural repairs.
(b) Passenger Cabin Reconfiguration, includes Seating Layout (LOPA), carpet drawings, floor path marking, placard installation, emergency equipment layout and installation, monument installation/repositioning, PSU layout, Seat cover and cushion change.
(c) Monument design, modification or repair design, i.e. galleys, lavatories, closets/stowage's, windscreens/Class dividers.
This is a contract position for a UK based company, but you will be deployed for two months in Belgium.
