Senior Sales Executive - Trade
EuropeReporting to the Regional Sales Manager (Trade), the Senior Sales Executive (Trade) will be responsible for communicating product awareness and promotingthe Jet2holidays brand profile via effective channels to our Trade Travel Agent Partners, gaining incremental business in line with Company targets.
In this exciting field based position, you will promote Jet2holidays and build key relationships with new and existing trade partners, managing individual accounts and being accountable for arranging and attending key events throughout the year. With the support and guidance from your Regional Sales Managers (Trade), you will implement development plans for key accounts, this should include targets, timescales and strategy, monitoring and measuring the results. You will identify and proactively develop new marketing opportunities within the travel trade, following up on new leads and referrals, thus growing bookings in line with company targets. You will represent Jet2holidays at conferences, overseas (FAM) trips, sponsored events, industry dinners, mobile travel agent events and general Jet2holidays organised events. In addition,you will be involved with the guidance and mentoring of the Sales Executives (Trade), ensuring that they have the necessary support in place to achieve their goals.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience within the leisure travel industry and the ability to close a deal and deliver noticeable results in line with Jet2holidays targets. You must have an outgoing and friendly personality, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and results driven you will have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a Team. You will be computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft office including Excel and Word. You will have a flexible approach to working as this role will involve weekend and evening work and be result focused.
