Maintenance Programmes Engineer, Thomson Airways, Hangar 61 Luton

The Maintenance Programmes Engineer will ensure that the Aircraft Maintenance Programmes for the Thomson Airways fleet (and sub contracted 3rd party operators) of aircraft are updated and maintained within the requirements of EASA Part M - M.A.302, applicable CAME and company procedures.
What you will be doing
Key responsibilities are:
Reviewing changes to the manufacturers’ recommendations, including Maintenance Planning Data (MPD) and their effect on Thomson Airways customised Maintenance Programme.
Researching and reviewing recommendations generated from within Thomson Airways for changes to Thomson Airways’ Aircraft Maintenance Programmes.
Organise and prepare submissions to Thomson Airways Maintenance Programmes Review Meeting for changes to the maintenance programmes.
Co-ordinating Reliability and Technical Support recommendations for review by the Maintenance Programme Committee.
Liaising with manufacturers in respect of MPD task anomalies.
Participation in Industry Steering Committee activities for Maintenance Review Board Report (MRBR) and MPD development.
Carry out record reviews and generate reports for phase-out of aircraft
What we are looking for
Key Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Competencies (including qualifications) required to fulfil role:
Engineering degree or Part 66 B licence holder preferable (past licence/LWTR acceptable)
Technical experience in aviation. extensive relevant experience may override
need for degree/licence
Knowledge of Part M, Part 145 and MSG2/3 principles
Can work under pressure to react to operational requirements and time constraints
Ability to plan and organise in a methodical and analytical manner.
Numerate and literate, good communicator capable of presenting data and plans
IT literate (MS-Office) and able to work with AMOS and other Thomson IT applications
Able to hold a DFT Airside pass, has current UK passport and full driving licence
