Avionic Project Engineer
Avionics Project Engineer to work on A330 avionics systems project providing technical direction and decision making Dorset - negotiable salary
Managing resources delivering projects, through requirements definition, analysis, design, development and qualification ensuring compliance is met. You will have a strong understanding of systems engineering within systems/ avionics, equipment and the integration of equipment onto platforms or packaged sub-systems.
Responsibilities and Experience of a Project Engineer - Avionics
Design or change complying to set requirements
Working to D0-178B standards and managing projects to these standards.
Define and lead analyses in support of system design, integration and change assessment.
Balance requirements, schedule and cost of project
Manage requirements verification throughout project execution
Estimate resource requirements, plan projects and report progress
Manage technical risks
Interact with other departments eg. Reliability, Safety, Airworthiness, C&I Product Group
Familiarity with a technology refresh and through life management of a project, including on
time DDP documentation delivery.
Understanding of operation and maintenance of military or civil aircraft, particularly large transport types
Understanding of military & civil aircraft airworthiness and certification
Experience of the management of aerospace development projects
Understanding of the financial management of development projects
Understanding of systems engineering methods
