The Regional B2B Sales Promotion Manager is responsible for the development, co-ordination and implementation of regional and local sales promotion activities, with the goal to increase revenue in the region within the defined B2B Sales promotion strategy. She/he is part of the Sales Promotion process community and a key interface between the central B2B Sales promotion unit, regional sales management and all local B2B sales and sales promotion staff.
The position holder ensures process orientation on all level as well as effective regional support for local implementations to create impactful and targeted communication of Lufthansa Group servicesand products and sales tools and programs to and with relevant B2B customers.

Dependent on the assignment focus the tasks include the following:
  • Provide Regional B2B Sales Promotion Budget and B2B Marketing Strategy to Local markets
  • Develop regional and local sales promotion activities to support the global and regional Sales Strategy (in cooperation with local markets) and in accordance with centrally agreed B2B Sales promotion/marketing strategies and concepts. Support local implementation
  • Concepts and planning of local events, regional and local and initiatives to support sales (for B2B target groups for example eXperts newsletter and promotions, acquisition of new eXperts participants, Partner Plus Benefits newsletter and promotions)
  • Initiate and coordinate regional Products and Programs (PPM) marketing: communication campaigns of new Lufthansa Group sales products and programs to B2B customer
  • Monitor, evaluate and initiate customer-centric activities together with the local Sales Promotion Experts, in close cooperation with the Regional B2C Marketing Manager
  • Continuous monitoring and reporting of competitor B2B Sales Promotion/Marketing actions in the region
  • Regular update of the regional B2B sales Promotion/marketing plan, tracking of budget spend via online marketing budget tool and reconciliation with SAP
  • Coordinate Lufthansa Group partner (for example Joint Venture partners) input for central tools and platforms (for example Partner Plus Benefits, eXperts, corporate newsletter, etcetera)
  • Support markets with adaptation, production and provision / distribution of Sales Support Material, ensure locally produced sales support material fit Lufthansa Group guidelines and strategic approach
  • Procurement and inventory control of B2B Sales Promotion/marketing materials
  • Contribute to global Sales Promotion best practice exchange and ensure local innovation and digitalization initiatives are triggered
  • Ensure Communication and reporting of regional activities to Global B2B Sales Promotion Team
  • Continuously updating relevant B2B Sales Promotion/marketing databases
  • Ensure harmonized B2B Lufthansa Group appearance across region
  • Regional coordination of Public Relations activities with B2C Marketing and Continuos Improvement if applicable
  • Ensure constant exchange and collaborative approach with Local Sales Promotion Experts and Regional B2C Head of Marketing
  • Steering of regional agencies (if applicable) to produce sales collateral in accordance with regional guidelines and global decoupling agency
  • Participation in other duties as assigned
  • Contribution, coordination and implementation of regional marketing concepts; ensure Lufthansa Group Integrity Compliance for all activities
  • Ensure constant exchange and collaborative approach with local B2B Sales Promotion Experts and regional B2C Marketing Experts
Your profile
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Business
  • Minimum 2- 3 years' experience in the airline industry and in sales and marketing
  • Knowledge in Sales, Contracting, GDS and/or Revenue Management background
  • Competency in MS Office - Excel, Powerpoint, Word, GDS Knowledge
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge in German language is an advantage
  • Diligent, independent and systematic approach to work
  • Innovative thinker capable of operating both in a strategic capacity and a hands-on/execution capacity
