Airways Aviation Academy are looking for a Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to join our team at Oxford Airport.

This is a permanent full time position, managing our team of dedicated TKI's

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development/discipline of all Ground Instructors at Airways Aviation Academy

Accountable for ensuring that the school is in compliance with the national regulatory requirements with regard to delivery of Theoretical Knowledge Training

In concert with the Head of Training defining and monitoring the required quality and standard of training given by the Ground training staff

Ensuring Training policies and processes are suitable for task and regulatory requirements. Advising of Shortfalls and remedial requirements

Ensuring that there is an adequate number of suitably qualified Ground training staff available to undertake the required training task of the school

Communicating/promoting policies, procedures and standards throughout the Ground school

Ensuring all Ground Training Staff are suitably qualified and company standards checks completed

Ensuring that all Ground training documentation, manuals and courseware are fit for purpose and meet the requirements of the business

Ensuring that Training is delivered to meet Airways Aviation Academy objective of being the Safest, Highest Quality and Customer Focused Training school globally

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Ability to work well in a structured environment

Team oriented

Result oriented

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook

EXPERIENCE

Experience in training as a Ground Instructor for professional pilot licenses

Previous management experience in an aviation related business

COMPLEXITY AND CREATIVITY

Work follows established procedures but the ability to adapt and innovate may be required.

Strong focus on quality with a continuous drive towards process improvement & customer satisfaction.

Ability to concentrate and work in a fast paced environment.

GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE

Will be based at Global Head Quarters in Oxford, but may be required elsewhere in the Global Academy network at times
