CAE Parc Aviation are presently recruiting for the role of Manager - Multi Pilot Training for our client based in United Kingdom.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Overall training and management of all multi pilot training activities/policies
  • Support, initiative and management towards strategic growth of MPA training activities.
  • Liaison with airline customers to develop bespoke course of MPA training
  • Management and pastoral care of all students undergoing MPA training and any associated training quality objectives
  • Management and pastoral care of all MCCIs and associated performance objectives
  • Design of MPA training courses to meet regulatory requirements – including the necessary supporting documentation
  • Development of new MPA training courses to further enhance growth
  • Maintenance of quality, consistency, efficacy and standardisation of instructor training and subsequent redelivery of performance to students by all MCC instructors
  • The development of the further use of technology (in particular CBT, FliteScape) in MPA training
  • Creation (and ensuring adherence by training staffs) of a documented and illustrated set (text and diagrams) of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all phases of MPA flight training
  • Support of the evaluation/procurement/acceptance of additional FSTD’s as required.
  • Attendance at industry and airline meetings as required to support business development training activities
  • Achieve a target of 360 training hours per annum which may include standardisation, revalidation and sampling flights with MCCI’s (or as required and agreed by the HT/Centre Manager to maintain currency).
  • Responsible for MPL course management and development, and the co-ordination and liaison with involved airlines.
  • To conduct training for the award of MPLI privileges.
  • Attendance at meetings/seminars/symposiums as required by the Company and to give presentations where necessary
  • Assisting, when necessary, the promotion of multi-pilot training on behalf of the Company
  • Worldwide travel on behalf of the Company as required
  • Any other duties required by Head of Training from time to time.

    Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Extensive aviation experience in a commercial environment
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a pilot of MPA
  • At least 2 years’ experience as Captain/SFO of MPA within the past 3 years – recency of airline operations, knowledge and skills is essential
  • MPA training experience and able to become qualified as the MCCI Examiner
  • At least 2 years’ experience of managing other
